Therapy offers a wide range of benefits, including increased self-awareness, improved coping skills, and healthier relationships. It provides a supportive space to explore thoughts and emotions, manage stress, and change unhelpful patterns. Therapy can also aid in healing from trauma, building resilience, and enhancing emotional well-being, often leading to positive effects on physical health as well.
That said, the therapeutic process can be challenging. It may bring up intense emotions or difficult memories and can sometimes lead to insights that shift how we see ourselves or relate to others, making familiar patterns feel uncomfortable. As your therapist, I will support you in navigating these experiences and help you prepare for the changes that may arise.
It is my priority that you feel comfortable and safe in sharing your thoughts within therapy, and I promise to maintain confidentiality within my legal limitations. There are some circumstances in which I am legally required to inform and cooperate with authorities as listed:

This depends on your insurance provider, but many extended benefits plans will cover Registered Clinical Counselling services. I do not bill directly, so I will provide a receipt of services after our sessions that you can then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
I offer varied availability, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I may not be able to maintain a set time each week, but will work with you to maintain a consistent and supportive schedule. Please reach out via email with your preferred dates/times and I will get back to you within 24 hours to book your next session.
